We spent the day biking and looking around the ends of the park we hadn't seen yet. We went over to an old homestead, saw the Marina and enjoyed the views. I almost ran right into a deer on the way home. Pretty cool. Thunder and lightening threatened in late afternoon but only a few drops were around. All in all a very nice ...

Our trip to the zoo took us on the local train system, most efficient. We are in Atlanta! It was tough leaving Suffolk and we had a really great morning. We had breakfast and the best French toast I think I've ever had. The perfect way to desires after last night. Which - let me be clear - was as bad if not worse than you are thinking. It was absolutely impossible to see and even tougher to concentrate with Claudia deciding that THEN of all times would be best ...

... evening of March 29. Alan and Sarah were there for his arrival.

As we set out from Belmont headed south, we could heard home beckoning us, especially the underwear drawer, because we had run out. The last leg was relatively uneventful, marred only by rain showers late in the day. We wrapped up 17 days on the road and 3,000 miles.

If you have the nerve, join us on the blog for our next adventure. Looks like we’re going to Nashville in July. Watch this ...
