Retirement is looming - only 20 work days to go! Excited and nervous at the same time ...

For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am going back to Mexico for a week in December. Rather than staying in Irapuato, I will be staying with two missionaries in Leon. I'll visit with them and their friends for most of the time, however I will head to Irapuato for a day or two to visit my friends there as well!

I can only hope, with 7-8 similar hours for 6 more days in the car that proceeding posts aim to be as brilliant as this one.

We returned to Betsy's parents house from our time in Mexico. After throwing a few more things away - we took off in our car on a road trip to Cindy Snow's wedding in Arkansas. We visited our friends Bill and Chuck in Cincinnati, then we followed the Ohio river to the Mississipi. We stopped at some small towns along the way like Metropolis (the home of superman).

We left Florida and drove to Berea via Winston Salem so we could visit Jed and Cecilie (Peter's nephew). When we arrived in Berea we spent the month of March getting Betsy's parents house ready to put on the market. The house market in Cleveland is horrible so we thought we better try to sell the house as soon as possible so they would be ready to move into their new retirement apartment in Chagrin Falls when is was completed in the fall.

... and functional, and yes, I did go there and even used the equipment (and lost my coffee card and room key). The out door sunning areas are high and plentiful on the ship, something I thought the ship lacked when I first walked around her. They were not much in use in the Baltic, too cool and windy for all but one or two days, but once she's in the tropics, they'll get used a lot, and be served well by the crew I am sure.
