Bored sitting here waiting for my flight to Seoul (scheduled to leave @ 0050 hrs.). Catching up on some emails & research in the meantime. Still have a few more calls to make before the flight; will check in once I arrive in Seoul as it may be last contact 'til the return trip (not sure how technologically savvy our base camp will be). ... arrive in New York with enough time to walk (instead of run) to my next flight, which will take me into Seoul, South Korea, where I'll have a layover. From there I'll fly into Jakarta and then on to Padang; I'll arrive on Wednesday, the 18th, EST (Thursday, the 19th, WIB). <br><br>I'll return home early Christmas Eve (the 24th of December).<br><br>Easy peasy. I hope.

Joe and I walked part of the Freedom Trail and ended up at Bunker Hill Monument, while we were there a reenactment of the battle was taking place due to the 282 anniversary. ... months, and then I'll be sworn in as a PCV(Peace Corps Volunteer). At that time, I'll be assigned to a site where the local people have requested a volunteer. I'll be living with a host family in Guarambare during training, but after that I'm not sure where I'll be. The key is to be flexible. My actual job will be teaching. ... It was pretty good. We went shopping a little bit after the movie. I found a tan jacket for $7 that I could wear when I dress up...nice price. :) We came home and Mrs. Walker made us macaroni and cheese. We had all gotten into "Beauty and the Geek" when we watched it on Sunday so at 8PM we had to watch the season finale.
