We got back onto the Metro and headed to the Colliseum. When you get off the Metro and go up the stairs, the Colliseum is right in front of you. Very impressive! We were out of Euros and didn't want to get anymore, as we have to get $100 worth each time. The Colliseum only takes cash and there were a ton of people there also, so we walked around the area for a while ...

Sacramento....Catching up with an old friend

Then Gabby took me to old town Scarmento which is full of western style buildings and had a real cowboy feel to it. Gabby had work at 5:30 so she left me to do my own thing then. I had a walk across the bridge and wandered around trying to get good views of Downtown. This would be my last experience of the California sun as the next day i was heading up to Portland in Oregon, Where it is a little more wet and cool.
