I'll be moving on in a couple days to Knoxville, TN. I had a great time in North Carolina, and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful state to settle down with a family. Houses are cheap and the land is still vast...it definitely has potential for any snow bird like myself, well maybe, who knows what the future holds...

Duke Day

Hi Folks
One of the most anticpated days of the tour, a day at Duke University. Bit of a late start and by the time we had travelled the 30 mins to the Uni the bookstore had been open for an hour and a half! It was a bit of an exercise parking the vans but we managed to do it and then started to have a look around.
It is a beautiful campus and we spent a bit of time outside the chapel and when we were just about to go in ...

... was the stretcher getting wheeled into the place. A bit of action for sleepy old Greensboro which was very picturesque.

Onwards to our game where we again passed the big house with the razor wire and can I say the freeway was looking very tidy.

We got to our game against Wayne Country High School. The girls played alright and come away with the win again ...
