I got most of my packing finished yesterday and tonight I am just finished up packing carry-on bag since I'm adding thing I use everyday into that bag.

The museum was fantastic. Its first exhibit is a TV screen about 8' x 16' running the starting of the Kentucky Derby with the horses running straight at you in slow motion. It is amazing to see the interaction, expressions, colors and the total effort put into the race [by both horses and riders]. ... the traffic slowed to a crawl. It took us about an hour in the Pigeon Jam to get through Pigeon Forge - we figured that everyone was checking out of their hotels and hitting the road.
As we got to I-40 headed for Knoxville the traffic got lighter but the rain kept going. We got delayed so much that we stopped for lunch a few miles north of Knoxville - and the rain was coming ...

I still have not heard anything back about staying for second semester yet. I am still placed but not confirmed. Feels like they are taking forever! I would love to have the placed and confirmed status before leaving!
