... the wind, hilly from the dunes. We loved it. We did not take the ferry over to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket as it is off season therefore not a lot happening or even open for that matter. The next day we took an afternoon to roam around Plymouth, Mass..great old city!! We hope you enjoy the pics and narration of that visit.

P.s. We will be skipping the above mentioned big cities in our next leg of travel…and we feel OK with this lol!

... it in my head that we had to start it at the 'official' start in Boston Common. Later I realized there was no real chronological order to it so it would not have mattered much if experienced in reverse.

Honestly my mother would be horrified from my lack of historical knowledge - even after walking this trail.

... the station in Salem, the rain started. We walked several blocks in the rain before deciding to take cover and have a cocktail in Rockafellas bar. Of course Danny met some local sports nuts and spent the next 45 minutes in deep discussion. ... insurance agents. Now it is a hotel. It is a nice a building, I will need to take some photos. Because it is winter and cold and because I prepaid it is also very cheap. $85 plus tax including brekky. Best value on tour, by a long way.

I rest and doze for a few hours and then out in the dark to sightsee. There is a very high end shopping mall across the road, full of Pradas and Louis Vuittons. I go into Barneys of NY and pick up a nice jumper marked ...
