The border crossing between the US and Mexico - more specifically San Diego and Tijuana - had to be the most easy thing in the world. So much so, I actually went back to check if that was it! Plus I also wanted the passport entry stamp, so got that sorted and walked out with a 6 month visa!

Although geographically only 20 miles apart, San Diego and TJ could not be further apart. I can see why some Americans are scared, because it is a pretty drastic change, but ...

... amp; beyond. I am pleased with my little challenge but these cyclists have real guts.Arrived at Catavina and staying here tonight. The map states that gas is available here but the pumps have not been used for some time. Panic !! However, a guy by the road is selling it from bottles!! Saved.

... for the best bar which was Adelita Bar and ate a meal which tasted delicious then we ordered 12 Corona beer bottles and got a little wasted and ended the day with some strippers dancing on a pool which we don't remember much but then my aunt was near by along with my cousin which she drop off so he can drive my mom car and take us all home, well to his home and knocked out again in the living room. ...

... We had dinner at Berta's (sorry no food photos), a busy restaurant serving South American cuisine. While we waited for a table we took the opportunity to look around the Old Town Historical Park, especially La Fiesta de Reyes. As the guidebook put it, a lively place with colourful shops and shop keepers and restaurant employees dressed in Mexican costumes. There are nightly entertainments - Mariachi Bands -but a little of that goes a loooong way.
