... swimming and frisbee in the ocean, we caught the bus back to town. Unfortunately Mich wasn't feeling too good, having had an adverse reaction to my cold & flu tablets. Loz, Dan, Bernard and I got a cheeky gyros after the beach and then we played a few rounds of card games donkey and scopa before dinner. We had been told of 3 amazing sunsets you could see on Ios, that were apparently better than Santorini's famous one (so our accommodation told us, perhaps he was biased?). So the sunset we chose for the first night was up at the top of Hora at the old amphitheater. We sped up the windy road to the main town of Hora, passed the row of windmills and at full throttle slowly wove up yet another hill (a sign of things ...

... was plying his trade…who would want to be a comedian…but he was very good…made us all laugh!!!

The act finished about 11.30 and we checked out the end of the ‘Dessert Extravaganza’ that was in the Lido pool area…so many sweets, desserts and chocolates. (it was actually too much..., we were all just gobsmacked as to how much people were piling their plates,) We had a coffee and made our way back to the room and were all in bed by ...
