I picture myself in cabs, slowing down my speech and increasing my volume as I say ‘MEAN....WOOD’ to a bewildered Yorkshire taxi driver who I fully expect to respond with homeland dialect of ‘ere lad, wot bloody ‘ell ya on about, talkin’ like am daft an tha’. Taxi prices are going to break my heart too, I could travel the entire length of Ulsan for around a fiver; I can only dream of prices like that in England.
