Today we say goodbye to New Braunfels, Texas. We have really enjoyed the Hill country so it is with mixed feelings that we leave. We were able to spend quite a bit of time with family and friends and we saw sights in the area. It was a very quiet campground and a pretty area. So we moved on with mixed feelings.

Getting all my electronics and apps ready so I can keep in touch with Lane while I am gone. I will be traveling with quilting friends Julie, Debbie, and Jody. Lane will graciously keep the home fires burning and dog sitting our "Nervous Ned the Neurotic Dog", Cuervo. Temps are to be in upper 20's to low 30's. Burrrrrrrrr! I have my silk long johns in the suitcase ready to stay ...

My husband's start time was 11 and mine was 1:30, so another day with no alarm clock yay!!! I've got to say how impressed I've been with Alliant Credit Union - our new credit union as of last year, it's based in Chicago, and it's a partner with our Escapees Rv Club. After Austin, visited Bastrop a "movie set" town with over 130 buildings on the National Registry. Many movies and TV shows were filmed here. Toooo cute. On to Lake Conroe which is an hour north of Houston. We have friends who live here in a home close to Lake Conroe in a golf course community. Herb played golf while I went off with the girls. Next off to Louisiana and New Orleans. ...
