... in the local vicinity about 7pm, firstly viewing the motel facilities; top location for the ice machine, right next to our room & much needed for my later cocktails, and a laundry room nearby. We all had a fantastic ride today through the cornfields and sheltered tree lined roads. In fact, we were all a bit sad when we had to get onto the motorway to cover some of the inaccessible areas of Route 66.
