After the ride, we stopped at the REI store, which is huge. It is inside the old brick power plant building. I bought a REI shirt for casual wear.
We then walked to the Tattered Cover Book store and spent time there.
Went about 2 more blocks to the Wynkoop Brewing Co. where we had dinner. S- Caesar salad & wings, J- BLT with loads of bacon. I also had a craft beer.

... after a short rest in the United Club, we were able to board the nonstop to Denver, avoid the snow (and eventual delays) in Chicago, and get home much earlier than expected.
We got home right about 2pm, which is normal nap time. It took a minor act of God to get the kids to wake up at 5pm on the normal schedule in order to go back to bed at 8pm, but we did it, and they did it, and the adjustment back to home time went really well.
We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! ... heaps more. I got so many cute clothes! We also had dinner I'm this nice pizza restaurant in the mall. We finished shopping at around 8:30 and when we went outside it was snowing, it was so cool! We drove back to the hotel though the snow and admired all if the Christmas Cheer. In Denver there were Christmas lights everywhere, almost every tree we saw was covered in lights, no kidding!
