... a classroom very difficult here. Thankfully I’m teaching language, which is largely based on repeating what the teacher says but it can be difficult to spawn a class discussion when the students have been taught to think the exact same thing as everyone else. I think the saddest part of this whole topic for me is that right now, American schools are working as hard as they can to turn into Chinese schools. Teaching students to pass tests rather than think for themselves.
