High up on my todo list: practice Portugees. Sun has gone down now, not much to see anymore.. So dark, little light pollution, but almost full moon mostly hidden behind the clouds. No photos for this post yet, I took them with my digital ...

... were also very strange- we could only see the shadows, which looked like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. The leaves were all condensed onto the ends of each branch, making the tree look like a dancing octopus like creature in the wind. As we walked inside we were greeted by about 10 friends who had gotten there the night before. Everyone was leaving the next afternoon so we knew sleep wasn't on the schedule.

The night started off very ...
