Our next stop was Weymouth Woods in Southern Pines. It took a little over a half-hour to make the drive over and we got ready for our next hike. I forgot my climbing shoes in Sanford. Minor detour and I was back on course to Winston-Salem. NPR was playing a show from 2000 when Chris Thile was 19 (and Randy Newman was throwing down songs about "scuffing your feet" and such).
