    ... of the chinese buffet and after a refreshing shower managed to get about seven hours sleep. My room was on the 20th floor so I was able to get a good view of the area around the hotel. Some places look better from on high, this wasn't one of them.     ... in China, so all that made in china stuff you see, it comes from here. So alongside the manufacturing also comes the shopping. Guangzhou is shopping central. Huge malls, huge wholesale stores. As well as handmade street markets too. There is a huge jade, jewelry and clothing market. Finding quality jade here is a shopper's dream. Finding quality hemp or bamboo clothes for cheap here was impossible for me ...

    The sun was very overbearing this day. 2 of the 3 of us got some bad sunburns. I never even thought of it so I opened my shirt up because I was hot, and at the end of the day my entire chest was red, but not very painful. We unfortunately did not have time or energy for one of the bigger sites, even though we walked 3+ km to close to the entrance gate.
