... 3 euros each, Freida and Paola (and their driver) brought our knees painlessly down the rest of the mountain! By now, there were a lot of people on the road, so we felt rather royal. After lunch, we went through a similar ticket/turnstile process and entered the castle where Ludwig spent his childhood summers, Hohenschwangau. Salzburg is a lovely little town where we had a few free hours to wander around and get acquainted with it. The horse and cart rides are very popular here in Austria and there were plenty of them around Salzburg. Also it's not unusual to see the locals in their traditional ...

Innsbruck still We decided to spend another day here in Innsbruck, because Treas wasn't feeling that well this morning. I seriously think that she had over-stressed coming over the Bremer Pass, and so she spent most of the morning having a nanny-nap, before we took the bus to town, and did our usual stroll around. Now, a funny thing happened......we got off the bus, took 30 paces, and there, right in front of us was.....Swarovsky! Amazing! ...
