We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Jax was a outdoors store which sold fishing gear and bait which is what we needed to get. We had planned to leave at 6:30 in the morning and didn't get out of the house until quarter to 7. I would have thought that this still would have been no problem to catch a 9am flight, but as it turned out, Delta had only one person working the desk we had to check in at, and when we finally got service, there was a huge problem getting ...

Hero's Journey -- Preparing for the Journey

A travel blog entry by ginnystouse on Sep 20, 2012

... and it was torture to watch them go off every weekend as if deliberately trying to find a place where any entrance for me was near impossible. Therefore, as my eighteenth birthday rolled around, I was ecstatic to finally complete this rite of passage. We bought a flashy dress, applied some heavy make-up and grabbed a handful of friends to accompany us on my first clubbing experience.

As only my luck would have it, it turned out to be the anticlimax of the ...
