How the trip started!!
... Result was i went to get the plunger, ended up breaking it and had to fish out the floaters before the room flooded!!
So that evening we went for a few more beers, (3) just nice and relaxing, walked on the beach home, and we both agree that looking up at the sky, it was the most picturesque we had ever seen. The clearness and the ammount of stars was incredible. Or was it the beer making us see double? Will have to check tomorrow, goodnight!!

Small La Laguna Beach; Our final stop

It was quite a trip getting from Donsol to the island of Puerto Galera, but since PG was close enough that we could easily get back to the capital on the day of our flight to Malaysia, and it supposedly had good diving, we took a chance and headed for the island. This first involved leaving Donsol around noon in pouring rain and catching a two hour jeepney to Luzon City. Puerto Galera
... You really got what you paid for, in that it was very difficult to find something good cheap. One thing I was eager to try was Halo Halo. Everywhere advertised it and the photos of it looked delicious so I decided to experiment. It turns out it is the strangest concoction I have ever seen; jelly, creamed corn, milk, red kidney and soy beans as well as some kind of paste, disgusting!
Being back on the beach gave us the urge to get fit ...
Short stay in Sabang
Matt and Natalie dropped us off at the port in Batangas on their way back to Manila today. We took a bangka boat to Sabang, which is on the next island south called Mindoro. Sabang is a crowded beach town and while the water was still beautiful you could see how it was much more polluted than Anilao.
