    ... me sweating and Seaman looking for shade. We found the large LC and Seaman statue at the waterfront park and nearby was the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center. Normally the boathouse has replica's of the 3 boats that LC took up river from here but they are currently in Canada as part of an HBO miniseries being filmed about the LC adventure.     ... but all I wanted to do was drive THROUGH these road works as our mission was to drive on the original course of Route 66 as much as possible. He wanted me to go back to the 1930's by-pass and I wanted to drive around the roadworks on the grass. I won because we were Brits and such.

    Some things are happening here. We have a new roof!! Gutters, Downspouts and
    new window are still to come in a "few" days. The roof does look good though.

    Motorhome repair shop has checked the wipers and installed the slide topper awnings.
