      ... the cat in (he totally adjusted to the rest of the drive and the hotel room with no problem, btw), ordered a pizza and took hot showers before settling in for the night. And so the adventure continues tomorrow! PS~ 1. Huge storm is set to hit the middle of the county tomorrow (yay for moving in Dec!) 2. One awesome tidbit we have discovered is that the further west we travel~ the less expensive gas becomes! In MO, gas is below $3.00! ...

      ... Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives place called, "Sweetie Pies". The Mac and Cheese and Peach Cobbler were out of this world. We couldn't take pictures in the restaurant which is really too bad -it was quite the experience.

      Some things are happening here. We have a new roof!! Gutters, Downspouts and
      new window are still to come in a "few" days. The roof does look good though.

      Motorhome repair shop has checked the wipers and installed the slide topper awnings.
      the rest of the awnings should be in next week. Then we need to get tires. There's

      ... Casino Queen RV Park.(Welcome to East St. Louis!!) We can see the St. Louis Arch from our windows, and the campground is great—paved, level lots, excellent electricity and it feels very safe. We are actually staying very close to the spot where Lewis and Clark spent the winter before heading out on their Voyage of Discovery.
