... and sights to see. What was just supposed to be a happy hour ended up being a 3 hour successful date!

Today is Mark's last day working on the children's unit at Acadia (he agreed to stay on Monday to help out on the Adult unit) so he was up extra early and excited. We went to Gosselin's to get a celebratory doughnut and he was at work by 7:45am. Meaning, I am just sitting here on the couch awake super early. I am trying to organize our ...

... City Forest and Bangor Bog for a light exercise before the football games started. We saw a frog and a close up of the Pitcher Plant that ingests bugs. Once our FitBit's reached step counts that were no longer embarassing, we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch some football. ... a really cool family came along, they took us all the way to Gorham, and would not take any money, or a dinner in exchange for the ride....and it was appreciated, especially with Stargazer's foot, and my ankle/knee being so messed up. We ended up staying at Hikers Paradise hostel for about 5 days. In that time we met a bunch of day hikers, a few section hikers, and some hikers we had not seen in a long while. We stayed in the private rooms for the first 2 nights, ...

... of the food was so delicious. Sadly, the music hadn't started when we left for dinner, but we had an amazing lobster-filled dinner on the marina (and, of course, blueberry pie for dessert... Oh, and for those of you tallying, McLaughlin's blueberry pie has now topped Trenton Bridge's blueberry pie as the best in the state). Be sure to check out the photo of Eddie's super manly pink drink that made the two guys eating dinner behind us super uncomfortable.
