      Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedroom and one bathroom. Each night there is one or two people that are in charge of cooking dinner for the house following a schedule.

      ... the British used to use the area to aim their cannons on Charlestown during the Battle of Bunker Hill. They also took aim on some gravestones with their muskets. The grave of a young man named Daniel Malcolm, a member of the Sons of Liberty, was killed trying to smuggle wine into Boston. Later when the British soldiers saw his grave they used it for target practice and you can still see the musket balls scars today.

For the price if my motel I should have figured that perhaps that wasn't what was in store for me! The bus station had posters up on the wall kind if like the Posters advertising English beaches in Victorian England.
