... room, and around 5:30 we went to join the rest of the staff in the dining hall for drinks, dinner, and mingling. I hate mingling. I always feel so awkward. Every conversation I start, no matter what it is, seems boring and ridiculous, and I never know what to do with my arms. But actually the mingling today wasn't too bad. I met several teachers, including a new Medical Science guy from Scotland who is really funny. Hopefully we can get more of the teachers ...
... for afternoon tea. Some tea and scones was the perfect thing to do at the end of the Oxford trip - especially with some clotted cream and jam!!

I headed back to the train station to make it back in time for The Lion King but when I got to Paddington Station I couldn't find the train I needed to get to make it to the theatre in time so jumped in a taxi to make sure I didn't miss my show. This was the first taxi I've been in were the passengers are caged in the back.

... here, we stayed in nice hostels with really nice showers or were at our family stays, which again had nice and normal showers. It's funny how little things like that are the things that I miss the most On a side note, I didn't bring my laptop to England, just my iPad, which means all of the pictures I take will be uploaded when I get back on Monday or Tuesday. Don't think I just didn't take any pictures, what kind of tourist would I be in ...
... especially with it being the first project - I'll just have to deal with whatever comes my way! I have to say that my biggest achievement so far is that my rucksack only weighs 15.5kg - and that's for 10 months! My case for a week's holiday in Ibiza weighed more!
