The term "mini" could lure a person into thinking this was more of a preparatory drop, like when we say "mini vault" at gymnastics when referring to the soft, squishy blocks that can be assembled to varying heights for the 4 - 8 year olds. Or the mini roll, Cadbury's chocolate log because it's small and inoffensive. With the mini barrel however, it's clear that whoever named it thoughtfully ...

... thanks to Annette, and we all really enjoyed the show.

There were clowns of course (we couldn't understand them but I’m sure what they said was funny), amazing trapeze artists, a roller-skating act that took me back to my childhood, a guy who could do some truly jaw-dropping juggling with soccer balls, a love story on a square of parallel bars between three guys and a girl, again taking me back to my younger years, a couple of strong men wearing jocks ...

... 2 hours to look around and have no idea where anything is but we tried our best. After a tip-off from a friendly ferry companion we initially headed for the "New Harbour". This is the up-market side of Hamburg with flashy buildings and fine dining. We passed through feeling slightly self-conscious in our cycling lycra and fluorescent shirts. Next we headed for the old centre, we stumbled upon the town hall which was magnificent (see photo) and then stopped at a ...
