I was woken at 5.00am by noise from deliveries in the courtyard outside the hotel, I am not sure if they were delivering to the hotel or to the shops under the hotel, anyway it's a city centre hotel so it's bound to happen, I tried to get back to sleep but no chance so I put tv on and watched BBC world news, all doom and gloom as usual. The journey to Hamburg's Hbf was 25 mins only and very comfortable, I managed to have a chat with and American lady who lives and works in Hamburg, I think she took pity on me as I was looking lost on the platform, that's my normal look to be honest. Well I was in Hamburg and it was very busy so I found a quiet corner and got out my handy tourist map that I had received in the post from the Hamburg tourist board a few ...

... not Tyrol yet, but there was a clear change in the buildings and in the geography.

Finally we rolled into München Ostbahnhof in the early morning sun, and it looked like it was going to be great driving weather. Again I had no map, but I had saved a screenshot from googlemaps to my phone, charged the phone on the train so I felt confident I'd make it out of München and towards Innsbruck.
