    ... its popularity. Canadian Pacific actually bought the Fairmont name some years ago and most of the old railway hotels are now Fairmonts. I've got quite good at spotting a Canadian Fairmont as most of them are grand old buildings with those distinctive slate roofs (Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City and Chateau Laurier in Ottawa are two good examples).     Got my uniform and got kitted up! Haha looking good in my sweet uniform.!!! Had a nice first day, it wasn't too crazy and I was just meeting all the staff and watching the introduction videos that have to be signed off when you work for the company. Had an hour out the front learning how to make the coffee and how to brew them etc. good times at Timmies!! ...

    ... Spaghetti Factory. Mom and I both had spaghetti and meat balls. We enjoyed our lunch quite a bit. Ice cream was included with our meal and so we were quite full when we left this restaurant.

    Just before 4 pm, we made it back to the condo to pick up our luggage.

    From the condo, we walked a block down Johnson Street to the Best Western Hotel. This is the hotel where the bus shuttle was to pick us up.

It is now an amazing sunken paradise of stunning trees, a volcano like rock feature in the middle draped with ivy and banks of flowers, with a winding pathway to a view at the top. Pathways wind around a giant lilly covered pond, and every direction you turn offers new and colourful delights.     I got a guacamole, and it was really good. After that, we went to the show.
