It wasn't very long after catching back up to them that Erika wanted to stop and use the facilities as well as grab something quick to eat. 30 minutes later we found ourselves all alone on the trail again and eventually at the proper junction point but with no trail left to ride! ... category, so we donned our rain coats and baseball caps and zoomed away as fast as we could. (Baseball caps keep the rain off our glasses). The road quickly took us into farmland, which is interspersed with little canals. But this water probably hasn't moved in a good long time and has a thick coating of green or red algae on top. We are currently navigating using the road signs, a guidebook, a map, and a route somebody did and put on the net. ...
