With a student population of 38,000, graduations are a large affair. They are taking place every day over TWO WEEKS at the rate of five ceremonies per day. Our exploration of the palace grounds was heightened by the presence of the illustrator for 'The Gruffalo' book series. We were able to act the role of the privileged 18th century aristocracy, playing ring toss and lawn bowling, wandering the gardens, all with Gruffalo inspired activities for the kids interest.

Surprising Marni was difficult going to bed.....but what's new there! Moving on, we had a nice quiet evening, chatting, catching up and getting to know Sev.
They had been in the house only 5 months and done so much! We heard alot of the stories and plans for the future. It was really enjoyable. I'm quite sad we didn't get enough pictures.
