... this time. The freshly baked cookies have been replaced with two types of cake. A simple recipe of orange flavored cake and a chocolate one. I found the chocolate cake quite dry for my tastes, while the other one touched perfection.
Condensed milk is not that pleasing or matching well with cereals and I was quite disappointed that the cuisine continues to use this kind of milk even today.

We slept in, probably because it was such a late night. Another tasty breakfast upstairs. We went out to see the temple of Olympian Zeus, the one major feature on our tickets that we had not yet seen. The columns were very impressive (Corinthian), and I liked the fact that one was tipped over. We returned to the hotel via the park.

For some reason, the word 'ferry' conjured expectations of a rickety paddle steam; instead our ferry was more along the lines of a mini-cruise ship. The ferry had ten levels of accommodation, multiple restaurants, a gaming centre, lounges, bars, and various shops. Furthermore, the rooms, although quite small, were neat, tidy, and had their own ensuite.

... I came to a park. Inside was a kind of random mini zoo with some four legged deer like creatures. There was a pond with way too many turtles in it. One of the turtles positions was hilarious. Afterwards I met a older couple she was from Boston and he was Greek and they had been living in Greece for 30 years. I had a nice chat with them and they recommended some less touristy places in Greece I could go as I was having trouble deciding where to go next.
