    ... the music got louder and the place got pumping and everyone started to get on the tables and danced all afternoon! I met a group of italians who couldnt speak english al that well... but were really fun! Also had a great time dancing with the rest of the contiki group! We then had to head back to the ship for dinner so we could cruise to our next destination. I was so sad to leave mykonos. definitely my favourite ...

    ... the race gained its name: Pheidippides a messenger in Ancient Greece, ran from the Battle of Marathon to Athens to announce the Greeks' victory over the Persians.

    The poor fellow delivered the message and then dropped dead.

    We also drove past the 1st cemetery of Athens in which many of the great Greeks are buried then on to the Acropolis for our group shot.

    ... have it with no oil/salt or flavours. Just have it steamed and straight as it is in the mouth. It is such a nutrient and healthy salad! Well, regarding the grilled fish we had, we had it sprinkled with lemon and virgin olive oil and freshly cut parsley and capers. It was a marvel! Skaros is one of my favourite fish. It is described by the ancient Greeks as the parrot fish which is grilled whole, guts and all –of course here this was not the case!

    ... jandles and no helmet – crazy I know but in Greece it is not law to wear a helmet and so many people choose not too! We were both a little lost so thankfully we had found each other. We rode a little further then we finally found the tyre shop. The man was very helpful and could replace both tyre’s today, we left the bike in his capable hands and made our way to the train station. 5.30euro for 2 return tickets into the heart of Athens! ...
