Historical Traveler Reviews Holiday Villas III Indian Shores

      Idea Vacation!

      from

We were at Holiday Villas for a week June 5-12 and loved it! We rented from the owner of #306. It was clean and we had a good view of the beach. Indian Shores is a good place to relax and lay in the sun. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and it was perfect. Not to crowded at the pool or on the beach. We will return to Holiday Villas III. Thanks for a wonderful week in Indian Shores!

      605- Great!

      from

We rented directly from the owner of unit 605 and LOVED IT! Condo is decorated very nicely and in great shape. We were impressed with the layout of the unit and the added touches that the owner provided. GREAT VIEW and the oceanfront pool was also very enjoyable. We would recommend unit 605 to all at beach lovers condo. We will be back next year!

      Great!!

      from

No complaints. Our unit and the building were nice and clean. Saw painters and maintenance people doing work. Very quiet building. Comfortable beds. Lots of dishes, glasses and cutlery. Can't wait to go back.

Holiday Villas III was very nice

      from

We stayed in unit 203 and it was nice. It could use a little paint and updating but I would certainly stay again. The property as a whole was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. A nice family place. I wasn't sure what to expect because all these reviews are split about 50/50 as to what kind of places all these condo's are. From outside appearances most look like they are kept up pretty good.

      603

      from

Highly recommend condo 603 at Holiday Villas III. It was the best. Good view and very attractively furnished. Had a great stay there.

      No view 711

      from

Unit 711 has no view at all. What a dissapointment! The linens have seen better times and the kitchen utensils need replacement. Some of it was unuseable. All units endind with 11 have no views in the building.

      UNIT 607

      from

I have to agree with the other person who stayed in Unit 607. The place was filthy, the bedding old, worn out and crusty. The frying pan was so corroded and dirty we couldn't use it and the inside of the cupboards were disgusting. We had two 80 year old ladies with us and didn't want to move them so we stayed the week. When we got ready to leave, I stripped the beds only to find unwashed blood on the mattress cover!!!

Totally unacceptable. If you are given 607 call the people you booked it with and they will move you ... we were told that had we called our travel agent right away they could have done this.

I booked through Intravelnet or Snowbird Vacations which I pay to belong to!!!!!

      Unit 607 filthy

      from

Unit 607 was filthy. It was so nasty, we couldn't stay there. If you would like pictures of this unit, email me.

      605 is a nice unit.

      from

We rented from the same guy, 605 and that unit is a nice unit and fairly priced. It has a great view from the balcony and he has a great website. The pool is oceanfront which is very nice, not like Holiday Villas II which is in the parking lot- we made that mistake last year.I would definately recommend unit 605- you can not go wrong.

      Great Family property!

      from

We stayed in a great unit 605 on the 6th floor, rented from owner who was a nice fella, helped us with resturants, places to see, things to do. He has a really nice condo, tastefully decorated and clean. I would definately recommend his unit.

... 52.70 on visa. It was wonderful to get back "home". Because it felt so good to back"home" we decided we did not want to go anyplace for supper. We did not have anything to cook for supper so we ordered a pizza........33.62. It was delicious and we ate half of it and put the other half in our fridge so we could have it tomorrow again. We had popcorn while watching Hawaii Five O and then Blue Bloods and then went to ...

      Dog culture

... our first step toward becoming dog people. We are now traveling with the dog ( another stupid idea - get a dog and then retire ) and are in need of a place to get the dog some activity so we can have less craziness at home. Enter the dog park. This is a whole new world to me, with many unwritten rules. 1. It is fine to forget the name of the person you have been introduced to and seen several times at trips ...

... Thai restaurant. I had massamun curry it was delicious and made me miss Terrigal Thai. We left Panama after four nights and drove 6 hours to Savannah. We ended up staying on Tybee Island instead of in town as there was no RV parks in Savannah and the hotels were too expensive. We stayed at this cool caravan park near the beach. When we arrived we went out to dinner to a restaurant on the beach, it was so yummy and we ended up going back there the next night. The next day we went ...

Upon checking into the hotel and scheduling the shuttle, another desk clerk tells me that if we take the 10:30am shuttle to the Port of Tampa we will be standing outside for 2 hours because they never allow people to board early. Having spent the past several months on the forums at Carnival.com I felt like I had inside information and told him I would take my chances. Well let me tell you, people who actually go cruising know a bit more than a guy who, although lives ...

... the greatest times of my life. Again, thank you to everyone who made it possible and enjoyable.
One message I have taken to heart from the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer is that true happiness is sharing experiences with the people around you and the people you care about.
Take care everyone and stay in touch.

      Peace.
