Historical Traveler Reviews Holiday Villas III Indian Shores

      Idea Vacation!

      from

We were at Holiday Villas for a week June 5-12 and loved it! We rented from the owner of #306. It was clean and we had a good view of the beach. Indian Shores is a good place to relax and lay in the sun. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and it was perfect. Not to crowded at the pool or on the beach. We will return to Holiday Villas III. Thanks for a wonderful week in Indian Shores!

      605- Great!

      from

We rented directly from the owner of unit 605 and LOVED IT! Condo is decorated very nicely and in great shape. We were impressed with the layout of the unit and the added touches that the owner provided. GREAT VIEW and the oceanfront pool was also very enjoyable. We would recommend unit 605 to all at beach lovers condo. We will be back next year!

      Great!!

      from

No complaints. Our unit and the building were nice and clean. Saw painters and maintenance people doing work. Very quiet building. Comfortable beds. Lots of dishes, glasses and cutlery. Can't wait to go back.

Holiday Villas III was very nice

      from

We stayed in unit 203 and it was nice. It could use a little paint and updating but I would certainly stay again. The property as a whole was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. A nice family place. I wasn't sure what to expect because all these reviews are split about 50/50 as to what kind of places all these condo's are. From outside appearances most look like they are kept up pretty good.

      603

      from

Highly recommend condo 603 at Holiday Villas III. It was the best. Good view and very attractively furnished. Had a great stay there.

      No view 711

      from

Unit 711 has no view at all. What a dissapointment! The linens have seen better times and the kitchen utensils need replacement. Some of it was unuseable. All units endind with 11 have no views in the building.

      UNIT 607

      from

I have to agree with the other person who stayed in Unit 607. The place was filthy, the bedding old, worn out and crusty. The frying pan was so corroded and dirty we couldn't use it and the inside of the cupboards were disgusting. We had two 80 year old ladies with us and didn't want to move them so we stayed the week. When we got ready to leave, I stripped the beds only to find unwashed blood on the mattress cover!!!

Totally unacceptable. If you are given 607 call the people you booked it with and they will move you ... we were told that had we called our travel agent right away they could have done this.

I booked through Intravelnet or Snowbird Vacations which I pay to belong to!!!!!

      Unit 607 filthy

      from

Unit 607 was filthy. It was so nasty, we couldn't stay there. If you would like pictures of this unit, email me.

      605 is a nice unit.

      from

We rented from the same guy, 605 and that unit is a nice unit and fairly priced. It has a great view from the balcony and he has a great website. The pool is oceanfront which is very nice, not like Holiday Villas II which is in the parking lot- we made that mistake last year.I would definately recommend unit 605- you can not go wrong.

      Great Family property!

      from

We stayed in a great unit 605 on the 6th floor, rented from owner who was a nice fella, helped us with resturants, places to see, things to do. He has a really nice condo, tastefully decorated and clean. I would definately recommend his unit.

... The men wore jeans, western shirts and cowboy boots. So did the ladies. And they ate a lot of bbq meat. And drank a lot of beer. There's a theme here...because it seems to be a 'thing' I'm going to see more off...chilli cook-offs, ribfests, pig jigs...not really the place for me, the veggie, to eat. There's always beer. And monster truck spotting. I can find stuff to look at that doesn't include blackened dead animal... I felt, to start with, a little out of ...

We moved to the Dunedin Carefree RV Resort (pronounced DONE-EE-DIN) north of Saint Petersburg on the 3rd.

The RV park was a nice park with wide and long cement pad sites with lots of trees (so many near our site that we could not get satellite and they do not have cable, but we were able to get good OTA reception).

The park is near the Gulf, but it takes some time to get to since it is a long ways from ...

No one on staff even blinked...After our rum running task to Cruzan, we decided to have our big meal of the day back at Rowdy Joe's...we had fish tacos and a final umbrella drink each, then made our way to the airport. The plane was much larger this time (about 100 passengers), and we barely noticed when the counter person ...

Day 1, Thursday January 12, Board Jewel of the Sea

... quickly and I was on board for my second RCI cruise about
      12:30.
I found that in at least one aspect the Jewel is the exact opposite of
the Enchantment. The Jewel Windjammer is aft here with a covered open
section of tables on the stern. The outdoor aft tables were a very
pleasant place, although I also enjoyed the Enchantment's forward views,
especially when it pulled into San Juan. Each has it's advantages and
