Historical Traveler Reviews Holiday Villas III Indian Shores
We were at Holiday Villas for a week June 5-12 and loved it! We rented from the owner of #306. It was clean and we had a good view of the beach. Indian Shores is a good place to relax and lay in the sun. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and it was perfect. Not to crowded at the pool or on the beach. We will return to Holiday Villas III. Thanks for a wonderful week in Indian Shores!
We rented directly from the owner of unit 605 and LOVED IT! Condo is decorated very nicely and in great shape. We were impressed with the layout of the unit and the added touches that the owner provided. GREAT VIEW and the oceanfront pool was also very enjoyable. We would recommend unit 605 to all at beach lovers condo. We will be back next year!
No complaints. Our unit and the building were nice and clean. Saw painters and maintenance people doing work. Very quiet building. Comfortable beds. Lots of dishes, glasses and cutlery. Can't wait to go back.
Holiday Villas III was very nice
We stayed in unit 203 and it was nice. It could use a little paint and updating but I would certainly stay again. The property as a whole was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. A nice family place. I wasn't sure what to expect because all these reviews are split about 50/50 as to what kind of places all these condo's are. From outside appearances most look like they are kept up pretty good.
Highly recommend condo 603 at Holiday Villas III. It was the best. Good view and very attractively furnished. Had a great stay there.
No view 711
Unit 711 has no view at all. What a dissapointment! The linens have seen better times and the kitchen utensils need replacement. Some of it was unuseable. All units endind with 11 have no views in the building.
I have to agree with the other person who stayed in Unit 607. The place was filthy, the bedding old, worn out and crusty. The frying pan was so corroded and dirty we couldn't use it and the inside of the cupboards were disgusting. We had two 80 year old ladies with us and didn't want to move them so we stayed the week. When we got ready to leave, I stripped the beds only to find unwashed blood on the mattress cover!!!
Totally unacceptable. If you are given 607 call the people you booked it with and they will move you ... we were told that had we called our travel agent right away they could have done this.
I booked through Intravelnet or Snowbird Vacations which I pay to belong to!!!!!
Unit 607 filthy
Unit 607 was filthy. It was so nasty, we couldn't stay there. If you would like pictures of this unit, email me.
605 is a nice unit.
We rented from the same guy, 605 and that unit is a nice unit and fairly priced. It has a great view from the balcony and he has a great website. The pool is oceanfront which is very nice, not like Holiday Villas II which is in the parking lot- we made that mistake last year.I would definately recommend unit 605- you can not go wrong.
Great Family property!
We stayed in a great unit 605 on the 6th floor, rented from owner who was a nice fella, helped us with resturants, places to see, things to do. He has a really nice condo, tastefully decorated and clean. I would definately recommend his unit.

First we wake up. Then the stressful decisions begin. A beach walk or a bike ride? Hang out at the Beach or Pool? Maple bacon donut or key lime pie donut? Then there's lunch menu to decide. Then is it the Barefoot Tiki Bar or the Bridge Tender Tiki Bar? Or Martinis on the deck! Or by the pool? Or Margaritas? Then in for dinner or out for dinner? Who cooks? Which restaurant? Shave or not? Life with Rick and Ardeth this week has ...
... We have learned that you have to travel over there before 10 in the morning to not get stuck in lineups and have no difficulty with parking!!
It was the wine and olive festival in Edgewater Park today. We visited with people from Washington ,DC,New Orleans and Maryland. We absorbed as much info as we could about New. Orleans ,our next destination.

Our destination Monday was to travel into Tampa Bay for an evening hockey game. Left our apt. By 2pm and found ourselves in the heart of downtown very quickly so made a quick decision to hike over to the TB History center . It was wonderfully informative on the history and settling of the city and the surrounding area. The Indians were here when the first invasions from the Spanish occurred in the 1500 s and still much later ...
... put the Sam's new tires on so that we could get home. A few minutes later they came out to tell us the "bad news". Sam's Club had sold us the wrong tires. Now it's 6:00 and Sam's is closed. So we take their suggestion; buy 2 new tires from TIre Kingdom and take the two Sam's Club tires home in our trunk to be returned the next day. We got to John and Sandra at 7:30, in time for the Super Bowl Halftime show.
