Ok so I'm getting a bit behind in my blogs as I've arrived at my uni now and want to write about that. I am having a really good time and re-living being a fresher, which is kind of funny! I also have my laptop set up now - yay! So as a simple solution I'm going to tell you about the food I cooked by posting some photos of it ...
La Rochelle, Poitou-Charentes, France hannahfoster... have an airport with flights back to London, which is what Ive just done today. Such a tiny little airport though, it was quite funny! There are just two people on check in, there is one bar and a few vending machines and one tiny duty free stall. There is one departure lounge area and everyone just walks out the doors and on to the tarmac to get on the plane. Flew with Ryanair and, despite everyone's warnings, they were perfectly fine. The flight arrived about 15 ...
La Rochelle, Poitou-Charentes, France hannahfoster... the D-Day landings are buried. I found it more moving than I'd expected actually, as the scale and number of cemeteries like this is a bit overwhelming. It was great to see the cemetery so well maintained though, and despite the nature of the place it was encouraging to see how strongly the locals felt about maintaining these cemeteries. Feelling suitably downbeat, we set off for Mont St Michel. The weather was still a bit dreich, and that didnt change ...

This was
another disaster journey really. We started late after an extended chat with a couple from Ireland and set off under the command of TomTom taking a left out of the car park to our destination 40km away.
After two hundred metres TomTom found its feet and continued its reboot problem and we had resort to using GoogleMapping again. As GoogleMaps does not re-route we had to follow its directions to the letter.
Dutifully, and as ...
Judith died! How are we going to manage without her - there'll be rows in the cab. She must have been dropped when planning last night.
Found this campsite after a couple of tries - clean and lovely under the pines. Swam, sunbathed, etc. for three days.
Cycled to La Flotte and St Martin first day, then Dave took us cross-country the next - big mistake, got lost, no lunch.

... French people. For lunch we had hamburgers at an American restaurant. We went back to the beach and around 6pm we left. I had a very bad sunburn. The worst in my life actually. That night we had dinner at a restaurant near the ocean and had fish lasagna. It was great. That night my legs were killing me. Ms Wolf gave me some aloe vera, but I ended up putting wet towels on my legs to get to sleep.
