    ... work but it was one of those things one of them had seen on You Tube and had to try. The next problem came when we decided this was clearly not going to work so Heather would have to ride down without sitting on her saddle (thank-goodness we were on a down hill track till home) but when we came to put the tire back on, Andrew had screwed the bolt that held the tire onto the bike back onto the bike but it was nowhere to be seen.     ... containing her wallet/keys/phone tumbled down the cliff and perched itself on a tiny twig on the edge of the cliff. Much to Stephanie’s dismay, we would not under any circumstances allow her to scramble down after it. Luckily she had an expert rock climbing friend who agreed to come and rescue her backpack.     ... of the two lane road one each way had sheer drops on either side. The for the rest of the way to Bend it was one continuous very long straight road very boring. Bend was a surprise looks affluent. We had dinner at The Pine Tavern by a lake very in area [I paid !!! ] Reg has nothing to add he is busy with his maps!!!!!!!!
