Sadly we have spent the last whole day in NYC! What a time we have had. Did some necessary re-visiting today, of Bluestone cafe where we met Terri,Nic Ruby & Gabe Sulzberger for breakfast. ... Broadway and then walked on up to Times Square. It was roasting and heaving! Amazing to see the many crazy and huge lights! Here - at about 6pm local time (11pm in the UK) - we all hit a wall of tiredness and so made our way back to our hotel. After grabbing some food in the bar, we are now headed to bed for an early night, as we're expecting to be woken by Bryony at about 2am as her UK body clock will be telling her it's 7am! Fingers ...
Above all we would like to thank Susan's sister Diane and Jones (her dog). Having her there to host us while we planned our trip after the house sale was a tremendous help during this life changing transition. Jones provided us both with a break from the day to day planning during the many dog walks. Also, Susan's brother Doug for checking on our belongings left in storage and taking our car out for the occasional spin.

Tom wanted to go to Bloomingdales, which was only a couple of blocks away but it wouldn't open for another 45 minutes so I suggested two blocks in the other direction to central Park.
