... about the capitol, the resort, the politics and questions of the like.

I have found the Maldivians that I have talked with to be intelligent, genuinely interested in bigger things than their own small islands, and very friendly. Male’ has all the attributes of an overcrowded city, but I’ll keep pretty good memories of my time there…

We spent the whole day swimming and snorkeling in the ocean and the pool with the big group of kids that were with us on the trip. In the morning, I was putting on my snorkeling gear and a small baby shark swam right by me! It was so cool but also a little scary. We also built a lot of sand castles and took lots of photos.
