I got a broken up but good night's sleep. I really needed it. The call to prayer is something that I surprisingly had not heard for a long while and certainly not so close. We looked at one under the light of a flashlight, and it was a tiny, clear, oval creature about the size of a cumin seed... impossible to tell even whether it was technically animal or plant, and ...

... still. Day 3 Just a quiet day walking round the island. Saw big fish being unloaded and dragged to market where they were bought, washed and gutted. . . Needless to say Rhianwyn didn't hang round there long! But later we ate Maldivian tuna noodles :) Day 4 Another day another beach this time a natural one called Villingili where motorised vehicles weren't allowed. We chilled out in some hammocks, swam and enjoyed the beautiful warm sea. Day 5 ...
