      ... at the end of he Boardwalk. We saw a couple of gators on our ride as well as an ibis, a blue heron, egrets and a couple of small snakes (one of which was injured). At 3:45 we met the guide and took a 90 minute boat tour of the swamp. I must say - it wasn't what we were expecting.       ... lots of trees and on a body of water connected to the swamp. Apparently they water ski on it in the summer - the gators don't bother them!! Can't imagine!!! We had a lovely sunset. We enjoyed a delicious collaborative dinner of steak, shrimp, potatoes/peppers and mushrooms finished off with chocolate covered strawberries. Not bad for camping!!!       It was a nice easy drive to General Coffee State Park in Nicholls, Ga. The park is nice but only 2 other campers beside the host are here. All the sites are pull-thrus with water and electric only. We are relaxing before we go see our grandchildren in Crawfordville, Florida.

      ... did get to sixty-three degrees at our new "temporary home."

      We're now at General Coffee State Park. It's virtually abandoned, with more Camp Hosts than campers. The host, Don, said that it's typically so during the week. There a some interesting trails here which we will explore tomorrow. The oil change and check-up went well, but I'm not so sure about the tire pressure.
