    It was a great 2nd day in the finger lakes! We started the morning by going to Watkins Glen State Park, which is right at the base of Seneca Lake. It was a beautiful hike along the waterfalls...we took the gorge trail north and then the Indian trail south. A very hot day, so a hike along the water in the shade was perfect!     ... We have learned a lot about this RV living in just a short period of time, feels good to accomplish a new skill each day. Once we got on the road, we drove 4 hours north west to the finger lakes, found our campground and then headed to a winery, beer garden, and a cidery...little bit of everything! It was a great afternoon :-) then we got back to camp and made tuna melts over the campfire...marshmallows & brownies for dessert, too ;-). ...

    ... Trail. I checked out the Aqueduct ruins and the rebuilt Change Bridge before setting out at 9 am..

    There were a few little villages, more bridges and locks. At one point the whole canalway trail was cleared of vegetation so you could see the canal very clearly. That was a definite plus.
