After my four weeks of class my mom, Tom, and my dad are coming over to spend a week touring and seeing all Jordan has to offer. Hopefully I'll be able to be an unofficial tour guide around Amman and know enough Arabic to get us around the country with some ease. Arrived Washington DC on the evening of the 25th Dec and booked into the 'Inn of Rosslyn" on Arlington Blvd just across the river from Washington DC - a very convenient walking or cycling distance to most of the DC attractions (there are rental bike stations scattered all over the places-of-interest at $7 per day - very convenient).
