... ended up spending a lot time chatting with one of the flight attendants.

As soon as we finished the extended lunch service, I helped Katherine set her seat up into a lie-flat bed. I literally tucked her in and she was asleep almost immediately, waking up a couple of hours before we landed at Dulles. I watched a few movies, slept a little myself, and forced ...

Anna was away for the last two weeks of June, which coincided with K's busiest time at work. It was great that she was having such a great experience, but it also allowed K and I to concentrate on our work and to get everything ready for the trip. We met my parents the weekend before we left, as they had agreed to watch Chip for us while we were gone. We always refer to his trips down there as his "summer ...

After my four weeks of class my mom, Tom, and my dad are coming over to spend a week touring and seeing all Jordan has to offer. Hopefully I'll be able to be an unofficial tour guide around Amman and know enough Arabic to get us around the country with some ease. While these are good goals we'll see how it all goes- and I intend on keeping you updated!

Well, I spent a few hours in the USO and ended up chatting with a few veterans, as we're want to do. The group going to Lourdes kept filling the USO, I was even asked if I was a chaplain; thats humorous on so many levels it's ridiculous.

I eventually made it to the Virgin Check-in desk and being a little early I was chatting with a Consultant Anesthetist from Nottingham who was in DC ...

Arrived Washington DC on the evening of the 25th Dec and booked into the 'Inn of Rosslyn" on Arlington Blvd just across the river from Washington DC - a very convenient walking or cycling distance to most of the DC attractions (there are rental bike stations scattered all over the places-of-interest at $7 per day - very convenient).

Spent the 26th just settling in and wandering around Arlington finding out where things are and working out a plan for today ...
