... this everyone crowds around to watch the opening of gifts. A spy case, Lego book, cars, Joe book, drawing pad and markers and composition book thrill the recipient who politely thanks his friends. Happiness abounds.

After the boys and grandparents leave the family goes down stairs for a movie to unwind after working together all day to make the party a success!

... There was only 1 presenter and a couple of officials. Very boring speech, so we only stayed about 5 minutes and left. We walked from the Capitol building to the east side of the National Mall, which is in no sense of the word a mall as we know it. ... is 169m high. It has a very fast lift to the top where there are viewing windows on each of the four sides. Over its roughly 200 year life, the monument has survived civil war, earthquake and lightening. Another impressive structure and the best views around!
