... had a fair walk to our hotel. Can we catch a taxi says me. No he said we will be fine walking. I was imagining walking many streets with our suitcases and many, many people. Our walk thru the Korean War Veterans Memorial ~ the war lasted 38 months and was on the 38th parallel that separates north and south Korea. There are 19 soldiers and there are 19 reflections in the polished black granite mural wall. While we were there, we saw a Korean family observing the memorial by placing a small wreath a the foot of one of the soldier statues.
