15th July We left Hollywood at around 1.00 and later arrived in Visalia at around 3.30 - quicker than we anticipated. The drive down wasn't that exciting as we saw mountains and desert land the whole way. We then had a drive round the area before heading down to the camp at 4. I tried to sleep in the car once we reached the camp however it wasn't easy as I had all the equipment like the balls with me. The two families who were hosting then picked us up at 6.00 - the two ...

... br> We arrived Visalia and it was sooooooooo hot. Over 40 degrees and no wind. Pool which was actually advertised was a spa, under cover and stank of smokers. We headed to the local restaurant "The Brewery". Fish and Chips and one serving could feed 2-3 people. We spent the rest of the evening doing some journals, reading and watching a show called "Crazy Animal ...
