... We bought a cooler bag backpack to help us through these 100 plus degree temps.
We then stopped at Wendy's across the road for lunch - well some chips & drink for Greg and a grilled chicken & salad burger for me. It isn't like our Aussie Wendy's, more like Maccas in concept but much nicer/healthier.

... The fresh powder snow made the forest magical and the trees were straight out of lord of the rings. Weather went to **** in the afternoon but not before we explored a few groves and trails...this truly needs to be seen to be believed. Back with Ozzie and Eva, drinks, laughs and some damn fine baba ganoush, their hospitality has been so enjoyable and hilarious. Will miss them when we head off ...

... were into the farmlands of California's Central Valley, where the landscape was nearly as flat as Nebraska. There were many kinds of crops to be seen, but it was mostly ,just flat. We're stopped tonight in Vasalia, CA, in a mobile home community that seems pleasant enough, except that there are lots of lights and we're right next to the road. I'm confident that it will still be more pleasant than a Wal-Mart parking lot. Tomorrow, I expect we'll be somewhere a little more ...

... t be bothered too so it was quite a chilled out day. I was surprised in the evening sessions when one of the kids piped up that both her and her sister are allowed to watch Freddy Kruger movies, Scream and Chuckie movies despite being 7 and 4 - I was like oh thats nice whilst being quite disturbed from what I heard. Once camp finished I headed n back to the house and caught up with Dad and Liss - I had previously spoke to mum before camp. With working from 9-3 here and ...
