Vroeg opgestaan en eerst naar het Zion national park gereden. Al een erg mooie weg er naar toe dus dat beloofde wel wat. In het park moesten we verder met een shuttlebus, halverwege uitgestapt om een wandeling van ongeveer 3,5 mijl te maken naar een kleine waterval en een paar poeltjes. Then just as suddenly the mountains stopped and it became extensive flat farmlands. For the following 2 hours we passed almond groves; vineyards; corn crops; mandarins and dairies with huge numbers of black & white cows, many more than we would have on a farm and presumably grain fed as there was no grass. The car was very smooth and comfortable. hard to accept that the outside temp was 40°C (103°F) as the display showed.
