Hi All Well I am now back in Vancouver after 3 days in Victoria. I traveled over by ferry, which took 1 1/2 hours and cost $11. I didn't see much on the journey as it was really cloudy. I caught the bus to Victoria from the ferry terminal which took about 1/2 hour and luckily the bus stop for the Holiday Inn where I stayed was right outside - great …

... found out that this was a weekend for dragon boat races (22 person rowing teams) in the Victoria harbor. This is a major event for Victoria each year. There were 90 teams competing in these weekend races from throughout North America. It’s the only major race that is held in an active harbor area. While the races are going on, ferries are coming in and going out, not to mention the little local taxi ferries and seaplanes taking off and landing. ...

Froghurt
Let me just point out that froghurt is so delicious. A place near the hostel called Qoola has this whole self-serve froghurt dealio where you choose your flavours and then put stuff on top (huge awesome range). It is really good - Karen and I became addicts instantly!
