I stayed here and was unhappy at the time I was staying here. The hotel is nice though and it was available when I needed it. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but I had to stay there because customs caused me to miss my international flight.

The Journey That Was Epic and Slightly Stupid

A travel blog entry by 13thlayer on Aug 10, 2015

We woke up early, because my dad was worried about the awful Portland traffic. It isn’t SoCal bad but it can be bad. So we got up and loaded 90 pounds of checked luggage into the car and then the carry on bags. So thank you to the people who read my stories, whether I know you or not. I had fun writing for you. People who are close to me ask what I said to "The Girl". Since they're so eager to find out, I've decided to not tell them. I think it's more fun this way. Luggages***** may be dormant for now, but this is certainly not the last of ...

This trail was such a charming hike! Relatively easy, only 2 hours there and back, Dog Mountain boasts beautiful views and a good chance to train for longer/harder hikes. 10:30 am -- Drove to the base of Mount Seymour in North Van. to meet the group for our Saturday hike. Upon our arrival, the rest of the group was admiring the lively frogs in a near by stream. 12:30 pm -- After walking for 1.1km, we arrived at First Lake. Walking across ...
