Holiday Inn University-Blacksburg

At this moment I am sitting in the Roanoke airport, waiting to board my plane. I am not sure how many airports will provide free wireless, but I am going to try and take advantage of them as I go.

Sept. 16 : Well folks....the weather reports for the rest of the week don't look good at all. Rain suppose to start tonight up here and rain throughout the rest of the week, not only here but also the other destinations we had planned to visit........SO, we decided to veer a bit from our original plans.

We were in no rush to get to Salem, Va and since we had missed Skyline the day before, we spontaneously decided to exit of I-81 in order to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway down to Roanoke.
