We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.

We started the next day with an early morning breakfast at Eat'nPark with our PA friends. After breakfast, we went to see my Dad and grand parents' graves, and then we hit the road.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.

There are almost eighty people here and Tom and Becca have picked up the tab for everything including accommodation, food and drink and the use of all the club's facilities - very ...

... I counted 38 people on the bus and there were a only few empty seats. I started thinking about the plane that crashed into the Potomac in the 80s which had taken off from the same airport. I had a window seat and got a good view of the Pentagon and Arlington Cemetery from the air rather than the river and DC. The flight to Pittsburgh only took an hour. Gary and Vicki had arrived from New York half an hour earlier and met us in the baggage claim area. They ...
