    ... to be doing a good job. Motown was started here in Detroit, home of Diana Ross, Aretha Franklyn and Smokey Robinson. The name is a mix of the words Motor and Town.     We spent most of today at Henry Ford's Greenfield Village, with my beautiful friends, Denise, Jeff and Aoffle.

    Couldn't have asked for a better day .... So much to see, so fascinating, lots of walking in the glorious sunshine.

    Very interesting Henry Fords, car manufacturing factory. In 1907 it took 20 men 18 hours to hand assemble 1 car at the cost of $315 which was 2 months salary. Lots of museums ...

I will spend 3 days seeing the sites, taking in some of the history that London has to offer, getting accustomed to hostel life and enjoying quality British food and British rock.     On our drive from Toronto to Detroit we stopped by a city park on Lake Ontario to walk in our first of the five Great Lakes. We stopped at a nice farmers market.
