    ... the area when we were kids. There was never a sign, just a legend of heads of weasels hanging in the trees found by older neighborhood boys by some unknown weasel murderers that may still be lurking. Beware!

    We then drove past Sheree's old home. Also changed but well maintained. They had turned the carport into a single garage and it looked like the kitchen was now where the dining room once was because a sink could be seen through the window. ...

    ... dinner in Stephen Avenue (bit like Ligon St) then off to bed! Pity we arrived on last day of the annual Calgary Stampede - watched the highlights and looked amazing with the Chuckwagon Races and rodeo events - those guys earn their money ! White cowboy hats everywhere!

    Day 16 (Monday): Lazy start then off to 'Oh Henry's' laundrette to catch up on the washing - you can only turn your undies inside out so many times! Stocked up the fridge ...

    ... baking hot today near on 30 degrees!!!! Rodeo was great went from 1pm to 4.30, bucking broncos, bull riding, roping, steer wrangling and barrel racing yeeha!!! Went to find some shade and a cold drink and saw a performance of the Earth Harp which was a giant contraption that was wired into the architecture of the building making the whole building part of the harp.     ... take hours to get your grocery shopping done here, it is so big. Knew what we wanted but it took ages to locate one item. Nice room, but we will be catching the train into to town tomorrow rather than deal with city traffic. It is interesting here as it is so flat, there are no reference points to orientate yourself. We are close to the airport but have not had any noise from it. Haven't taken any photos today at all, as I didn't take the iPad with me on our walk. Should be back ...
