Consequently the deep inhaling/exhaling exercises began as we deplaned. Without much fanfare the boarding passes were timely acquired and we boarded without incident. Twin City, Georgia, United States schubbefamily... to see Seth after a week of sleeping alone and missing him. <br> Millen is a very, very small town situated in the eastern part of Georgia. Over the last year the small town has experienced tremendous amounts of economic tragedy. Several factories and buisnesses that were helped to keep Millen going have been closed. You can see the seriousness of the situation in so many of the resident's faces. Because of these struggles crime ...
Millen, Georgia, United States sethnjessnobles... today is the demise of the merchant bank Lehman Brothers, stock brokers Merrill Lynch being bought out by Bank Of America, and the world's largest insurance company, AIG have announced that they are in trouble. Reidsville, Georgia, United States thebusmonkeys... Olympic park again before heading back to the car and off into the sunset. Americus, Georgia, United States kforeman... Georgia & its Sunday. So the majority of the Georgia is dry on Sunday, yep bars are closed, the beer on the shelves in the gas stations are decorative. The woman behind the counter suggested helpfully I could drive to South Carolina for a beer or I could go to a restaurant and get a beer with my meal but it will cost ya,she smiled :-) When I was in New York people were saying "You're going to Georgia, Jeeze Buddy watcha yerslef, its ...
Atlanta, Georgia, United States sunnysean... there is a kinder and gentler life in the smaller towns in America. Small towns seem somewhat insulated from the negative aspects of life in big cities. The Daily Journal of Round America: Each day, we collect our thoughts on a web page just like this. We drop in some of the photos from the day. Our goal with the Daily Journal is to write about the ...
