... room and a kichenette. After check-in we went to the mall and had a great time.
The next morning we went to IKEA by the mall and then to the local casinos. No luck on winning but it was fun. After the casinos we started to head back to Milwaukee.
... we had to weave through the other drivers. We met Aleen for dinner at Trieu Chau, a local Vietnamese restaurant in St. Paul. I ate Bun Rieu while Susan had Bun Bo Hue and Aleen ate the vegetable soup. We made it to Hung and Lien's at 8:30 PM exhausted but ready to see what Minneapolis has to offer since this is our first time to go sightseeing here.
We will be seeing the Mall of America...
Today I traveled via e-mail from home to Kampala, Uganda. Because of the 8 hour time difference, I didn't arrive in Kampala until the next day though. Boy is that a long trip! I was so tired and went straight to bed. I got to sleep ...

I'm frantically trying to work through my 3 page list of things to do before I go. Setting up a travel blog was one of the things on my list. Hopefully this will work as a great way to share stories and photos will all our friends and family back home. This seems pretty easy so far. My next task is a little more complicated...buying another swim suit. Why did I wait until 48 hours before departure to tackle this monumental task?
Off to MOA!

The arrival in St. Paul seemed like it took forever. I am the adventurous, new experience-craving type guy, and Renee just really wanted to get there. I can't blame her, it is her family. But she compromised for me, and I was to do the same for her. The drive that was supposed to take fifteen hours and forty-five minutes, but with me behind the wheel, it took about eighteen hours. Now that's not saying I drive slowly, I just experience ...
Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States beachbumaxp... supply store at the end of the visit and then headed home. A fun day indeed, only made even more fun when we arrived home and promptly began storm clean-up from yesterday and cleaned until 9:15 PM but finished the front and side yards. Thankfully many hands make light work and clean-up went smoothly. Hope you have as much adventure in your life as I do, if not I wish more adventure for you! -T
Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States tlbuster... Vikings walking around in a purple suit and looking like he had consumed one to many glasses of wine. Funny thing is, I later found out when I got back to the States, that Carl Eller had got stopped by the police on the way back from the inauguration party and was taken downtown. Noone still knows why he was there in the first place. LOL!!!
Bloomington, Minnesota, United States summerflowers73... final resting place of Frank Lloyd Wright. Spring Green is pretty much at the opposite end of Wisconsin from Door County, and no roads really connect the two regions, so it was a long, circuitous drive. When we did arrive at the House on the Rock Resort, we found our babysitter had cancelled, and so we could not take the Taliesin tour (no children allowed in the house). We did have tickets to the House on the Rock included in our hotel stay. Now, those of you who have not ...
