First week of twelve down and the days are absolutely flying by. I don't know how to condense all the **** circling my brain into something that's interesting and informative but we'll give it a go, eh?

I mentioned last time that I was acquiring a vehicle. I have done this thing, and it is excellent. My noble steed is a tiny wee hyundai atos and what it lacks in power (my god, does it lack power) it more than makes up for in being easy to park. It so far ...

If you have recently used Sydney International Airport you will agree with me that I don't know why it seems to be the only airport in the world that doesn't have any external signs indicating where the airline check-in counters are positioned! ... in our pockets to spend on lunch, where we dined and played Kaiser for the next four hours. Everyone resisted the urge to doze knowing of the pending sixteen and a half hour flight to Atlanta, followed by another two and a half hours to Minneapolis and another two from there to Saskatoon! I can almost see my ankles swelling already!
And so ends our African Adventure. Words cannot begin to express the range of experiences encountered during our brief visit. We met ...

... arrived early and the hotel I planned to stay in did not work out, so I was back in the town centre as opposed to the lake side. All in all it was relaxing, but I was pleased to get back to Addis and the sanctuary of Yeshi’s Mamit Guest House.

I started feeling unwell at Yeshi’s (probably Chato’s head cold - so it was not an excuse!) and I did not make the museums in Addis I planned to see. I did catch up with Henok though. So it was a ...
