We were pretty pleased to be leaving Provincetown for a bigger city with hopefully some life. On the way down the coast we passed some mental halloween displays outside houses and took a detour to the Cape Cod crisp factory! Loads of free samples so I was happy. ... We parked in a super rich area of town where I am sure our van got snooty looks and walked down to the campus. It was not the nicest day outside once again but the campus was very pretty. There was a really fancy courtyard that led to all the frat and sorority buildings and it felt a little surreal like we were in a movie. ... the holiday homes of the rich & famous New York families of the time, built between the 1880s and 1920s, and used for only 6-8 weeks a year!
The extravagance of these properties used for such a short period of time was quite breathtaking!

... who walked their dogs in the morning couldn't see. The other was right on the edge of the URI ( University), in a small inlet in some trees with sloppy ground that had slugs on it.
I would ditch my pack in the morning and try to stay on the down low around here. I wandered around, observing society from the outside it seemed to me. I had alot of ups and downs emotionally from all this, but i also had many great times.
