Holiday Inn, South Hotel and Convention Center Lansing

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids (outside of Lansing Mi) is where we got married one year ago October 4, we went back to celebrate our anniversary and recall that "day of days". It was a little warmer this year but still a nice cool misty October afternoon / evening. Here are a few photos from this year, we will post some photos from the wedding in a few days.

It feels so right to be back on my bike again, it's like we never parted.

Was on the road by noon. A good, albeit wet, ride today. A bit of delay at the Sarnia/Port Huron border for Matt to renew his visa waiver form but no complaints ...

After a hectic weekend with graduation and parties, it's finally time to head overseas. I've been planning this trip for almost a year now, hard to believe it has finaly arrived. We depart DTW at 3 PM, make a couple stops on the east coast in Baltimore and Philly before we fly into Dublin. We will be there Tuesday morning. We are staying at the Ashfield House, located in the city centre. More info to come later.

... so Mom took me shopping. We came home hours later with four movies from Blockbuster and one new bra. We then proceeded to watch Eight Below. Then we thought maybe it was dinner time, so I started to whip up some Aussie burgers and their add-ons and we ate. They seemed to go over pretty well. We waited and we waited for my luggage and around 9:30 it finally came. All wrapped in platic wrap. It had come open. I ripped it open and searched through everything. One uni mug ...

... tour of those five countries, as we only have three weeks, but I am just so excited to be travelling again. And...another future plan...Two of my classmates and I want to reserve a vacation block during clinics for travelling around Scotland. This is just in the works of planning, and I have to figure out how I am going to fund this crazy idea, but it will happen if I have anything to say about it.
